Google My Business Insights Now Includes Queries Used by Searchers to Find Your Yoga Studio
How do possible clients find you? Answering this question will help you better target your marketing efforts. You’ll find that word-of-mouth, search engine results, and social media might be avenues where clients can find you.
Now, Google My Business Insights includes additional information that can help you learn how possible clients find you. Search Engine Land details how you can gain access to this information. Google will report this in the “Insights section of the console that is designed to show businesses how people are searching within Google Maps or Google Search to find your local listings”.
The report is called “queries used to find your business” and it shows the most popular queries for your business. For example, let’s say your Yoga Studio is called “360 Yoga”. “360 Yoga” might be one of the most popular search queries used to find your business. And Google’s My Business Insights will now tell you that.
As of this writing, the rollout is happening on a small scale. Check to see if you’re able to view your data by visiting My Business Insights.
